Welcome to a world where magic reigns and monsters lurk behind every corner. Into his land of deadly dragons and menacing magicians comes our heroine -- Lina Inverse, a cute, fireball-throwing sorceress who steals from the wicked and gives to herself! Along with Gourry, a handsome but dumb-as-a-rock swordsman, Lina challenges the forces of not-so-goodness as she seeks truth, justice, fame and gold! Well, mostly fame and gold... Grab your pack and join the wackiest bunch of misfits ever to embark on a quest!

Let the forces of evil tremble in fear (along with wealthy merchants and innocent bystanders)... THE SLAYERS ARE BACK! Join the not-so-heroic adventures of Lina Inverse--the super-cute sorceress who steals from the rich and keeps it for herself! Along with her sword-swinging (but dumber than dirt) sidekick, Gourry, her hyper-enthusiastic protégé, Amelia, and the tormented and overly-serious golem, Zelgadis, there's nothing Lina can't do!

The inhabitants of the village of Biaz, forced to labor in the serivce of the world-domination-happy Zein organization, hires Lina Inverse and Naga The Serpent to drive off the invaders. Lina and Naga agree, lured by stories of Elfin treasure sleeping below Biaz, only to get considerably more trouble -from the Zein and from the treasure - than they ever expected.

Lina Inverse and her sidekick Naga the Serpent are happily enjoying lunch when the entire town ducks under cover before an invasion of Marlene Culvert and her legion of bloodthirsty dragons. The cause of the invasion? Marlene is in a feud with her father, the king, over her allowance. Lina leaps into action to defend the village against Marlene, her tetrad knights and her dragons, but her dependable Dragon Slave spell fails her. Right when she thinks she has won, the real battle has just begun.
