Tari Tari

New animation featuring a new song recording by the Shirahamazaka High School Chorus Club, bundled with the BD Box set.

First-year high school student, Uta Komaki. She has many weaknesses. But she loves to sing. Aiming for an ordinary youth, she tries to join the light music club as part of her high school debut—only to fail miserably due to her timid nature. In her despair, Uta encounters a form of music created solely by the human voice—a cappella. There, she finds a group of girls whose imperfect youth is woven together only through their harmonized voices. —Even without shining, it's still youth.

The story of the first film of four is set in the spring, when Fuu, Kaoru, Norie, and Maon get promoted to third-year high school students, while Kanae has graduated. Two kouhai join the photography club. Even though they bring in new friends, their lively daily life remains unchanged. Yet, the four third-year students are slowly thinking about their own future dreams and paths as they face graduation in about a year.

For her first year of high school, family circumstances force Fuu Sawatari to move to Takehara, a scenic old town near Hiroshima on the Inland Sea and live with her relatives. Her father, who has passed away, grew up in Takehara and always spoke fondly of his childhood while living there. Sawatari learns to love taking photographs with his old film camera, a Rollei 35S while making friends and learning about the town.
