Sudachi no Maoujou

After his embarrassing defeat at the hands of a brave hero, the Demon Lord is back and ready for revenge… but after ten years apart, the hero, Max, isn’t the dashing do-gooder the Demon Lord remembers. In fact, Max has turned into a shut-in slob with no interest in an epic rematch. Can the Demon Lord whip his former nemesis back into shape, or will he be defeated by the hero-turned-couch-potato once again and join him in his lazy life?

In Earthclear, everyone is born into a fixed role, and villagers are the weakest of all. Most never rise above Level 5—except Kouji Kagami, who is Level…999?! On a monster hunt, he meets Alice, the Demon King’s daughter, and discovers they share an impossible dream: coexistence between humans and demons. In a world destined for conflict, they charge into battle to defy fate and shatter the rules.

After a long and treacherous journey, our Hero finally arrives at the Dark Lady's castle only to find himself being asked for help. The Hero explains how the war that the demons have brought upon the humans have killed thousands and put more in misery. The queen of demons however argues that this war has made the human society band together as one and showed empirical evidence how it has increased population, increased production, boosted economy and improved society overall. Furthermore, she explains to the Hero that ending this war will result in a civil war that will produce more bloodshed than there ever was. The Hero, convinced that the only way to bring peace, relatively speaking, is to join forces with the Dark Lady, agrees to help with her plans!
