Nintama Rantarou Movie: Ninjutsu Gakuen Zenin Shutsudou! no Dan

Rantaro, Kirimaru, and Shinbei are far from being excellent ninjas. Training at an elite ninjutsu academy in historical Japan, they are accompanied by their tongue-in-cheek friends, ninja masters, and idol senior ninja trainees. Rantaro and his ninja-in-training pals are called "nintama" — a combination of "ninja" and "tamago" ("egg"). The story of the film begins when Doi-sensei disappears after being challenged to a duel by Moroizumi Sonnamon, a tasogaredoki ninja. While Yamada-sensei and the 6th graders of the Ninjutsu Academy search for Doi-sensei, a man dressed in white suddenly appears at the Academy!

An unknown castle hires Rikichi Yamada to steal back the secret medicine which was stolen by Dokutake Castle.

Rantarou misunderstands an overheard comment from the Headmaster and leaves Ninjutsu Academy in shock. At the same time, the Dokutake Castle ninja team is once again up to no good... This special celebrates the 25th anniversary of the anime.

Rantarou, Shinbei and Kirimaru are ninja apprentices in the Ninja Gakuen, where first grade ones are called "Nintamas" (contraction of the words ninja+tama (egg). They must learn everything a ninja must know, but as for our heroes, money, food or playing are more interesting. The series show the everyday adventures of our heroes, segmentated in a cartoon fashion, like 2 small episodes in a 30-min show. The cast also includes the teachers (Doi-sensei and crossdressing Yamada-sensei), nintama kunoichis, evil guys (Dokutake ninjas) and even family members of all the cast...
