Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow

It is the year Universal Century 0079. Over 90 million humans populate the Earth, and many have been forced to live in space. People now live in large cylinder-like colony clusters called Sides, all ruled over by the "Earth Federation Space Force" (E.F.S.F.). Around this time, a group of colonies called Side 3, located near the dark side of the moon, proclaimed themselves independent from the Earth Federation and made themselves known as the "Principality of Zeon". Now the war has gone on for eight months and doesn't seem to be ending any time soon. Both factions are at a stalemate. As a last resort, the Federation attempts to produce a new, stronger force to fight against the Zeonic armies. They create the White Base and a powerful Mobile Suit called the "Gundam". However, these suits are piloted by youths...

The One Year War comes to a close, as the Zeon forces now retreat back into space. Amuro learns much more about his Newtype abilities and tries to use them the best way he can. He's pushed to his limit as he encounters the infamous Char Aznable once again. He also falls in love with a mysterious woman named Lalah Sune, who knows the full potential of the Newtype abilities. The greatest battle is about to begin, as many loved ones fall to the power of war. Can the Earth Federation defeat the Principality of Zeon? Can Char prove that he's a better Newtype than Amuro? All these questions will be answered now...

What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in the middle of a war? Teenager Amuro Ray sees his life shattered when war comes to his home. During the chaos, Amuro finds himself inside the mobile suit Gundam, the Earth Federation's new secret weapon, and he somehow gets it to work. Amuro and the other refugees flee their homeland on the warship White Base. This group of children and inexperienced soldiers will change the outcome of the war.

In its zeal to stamp out any remaining opposition, the Earth Federation has organized the Titans, an elite fighting force. However, the Titans soon get out of hand, committing atrocities on par with the worst the Principality of Zeon had to offer during the war. In response, dissatisified citizens, former Zeon soldiers, and even members of the Earth Federal Forces form a resistance group known as the Anti-Earth Union Group, or AEUG. As the next war is brewing, a small AEUG group arrives at Side 7 to investigate the new Gundam Mk. II...
