HIGH CARD

Second season of HIGH CARD .

One last heist. That's what they all say, right? Just one final score, and everyone can retire and take up fishing. Thing is, the jails are filled with super villains who thought the same thing, and got busted. But the Heat's in a jam. He's run up the kind of gambling debt that - if he can't pay it back in cash - will be paid in blood. Nobody wants to see the most beloved supercrook of all time rubbed out by the mob - especially his biggest fan, Johnny Bolt. And Johnny's got a plan to help the Heat and make all his buddies disgustingly rich at the same time. Unfortunately for Johnny's recruits, they have to head to Spain and rob the world's most notorious super villain blind. And that's where things get tricky.

One day, six cards known as the "Six Desires" were born with the power to change fate. Six fighters were chosen, and would come to possess those six cards. What awaited them was the “Fated Clash“, where they would fight each other until the end, and the last one standing would have any wish granted. A youth named Akina Myodo, who wants to help his frail sister, participates in the Fated Clash to have his wish granted. And thus, he throws himself into battles with powerful fighters.

A new generation of Cardfighting is about to begin. Chrono Shindou is your average middle schooler. His looks make people afraid of him, but he has a kind heart and is loved by children. One day Chrono opens his locker and finds a Cardfight deck no one has ever heard of: Gear Chronicle. Chrono takes it to the nearby Card Capital 2 where he meets one Kamui Katsuragi. Kamui teaches Chrono how to play the game and opens the way for Chrono to gain new friends and rivals solely by having fun, including soon to be teammates Shion Kiba and Tokoha Anjou.
