Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths

The Isle of Koumi, a beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean. On the island, people pass an old legend down from generation to generation that there was the Seabed Palace, an ancient ruin at the bottom of the sea, where the treasure of 2 female pirates, Anne Bonnie & Mary Reed (who really existed 300 years ago), was left. When Conan and his friends visit Koumi Island while on vacation, they meet some treasure hunters. There was something suspicious about them.

The movie is set on a state-of-the art Aegis vessel with the full cooperation of Japan's real-life Ministry of Defense and Maritime Self-Defense Force. The corpse of a Self-Defense Force member has been found — minus the left arm — and a spy has infiltrated the Aegis vessel. The heroine Ran is put in jeopardy, and Conan is forced to stand up against the dangerous Spy "X."

This time's location is set in the sea near the Hachijo-jima island, Tokyo. Engineers from around the world have gathered for the full-scale operation of "Pacific Buoy," an offshore facility to connect security cameras owned by the worldwide police forces. A test of a certain "new technology" based on a face recognition system is underway there. Meanwhile, Conan and the Detective Boys visit Hachijo-jima at Sonoko's invitation and receive a phone call from Subaru Okiya (a graduate student in the Graduate School of Engineering at Tokyo Metropolitan University, who is an FBI agent Shuichi Akai and a black-robed organization's Rye) informing them that a Europol employee was murdered in Germany by the Black Organization's Jin. Conan, who is disquieted, sneaks into the facility and finds that a female engineer has been kidnapped by the Black Organization...! Furthermore, a USB drive containing certain information in her possession ends up in the hands of the organization... A black shadow also creeps up on Ai Haibara (Detective Boys' Ai Haibara / Shiho Miyano / the Black Organization's Sherry),..
