HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing

The second season of Hell Mode .

Aloof and logical middle school third-year Yuusuke Yotsuya is transported to a game-like alternate world. He becomes a third player and takes on a dangerous quest with his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, who were transported there earlier. The cold Yuusuke eschews emotionalism and examines all elements with detachment, sometimes even toying with the lives of his companions. Can he protect his party from attacking monsters, difficult incidents, and powerful scheming enemies and win the game?

All his life, Yuuya has been bullied at school and neglected by his parents. After moving into his late grandfather’s home, he discovers a strange door that seems to be calling out to him. Yuuya opens the door, steps inside, and is suddenly transported to a magical world! This new world holds rare treasures and grants him powerful skills, which he takes back to Earth for a new lease on life.

Born into a prestigious family of master swordsmen, Elymas Edvaughn’s future shatters when he awakens the so-called “defective” Heavy Knight class. Disowned and cast out, he regains memories of another life—and realizes this world mirrors a VR game he once mastered. Armed with knowledge no one else possesses, he sets out to rewrite his fate and prove the strength of the “weakest” class.
