Fate Rewinder

Satoru Fujinuma is a 29 year old manga artist struggling to make a name for himself following his debut. But, that was not the only thing in his life that Satoru was feeling frustrated about… He has a unique supernatural ability of being forced to prevent deaths and catastrophes by being sent back in time before the incident occurred, repeating time until the accident is prevented. One day, he gets involved in an accident that has him framed as a murderer. Desperate to save the victim, he sends himself back in time only to find himself as a grade-schooler one month before fellow classmate Kayo Hinazuki went missing. Satoru now embarks on a new quest: to save Kayo and solve the mystery behind her disappearance.

We all wish we could go back in time, to turn back the clock and fix the past. But in this reality, that simple wish brings about something deadly—demons that devour time! It’s up to a group of strong warriors who fight using time manipulation to destroy these blights. Victor, Kiri, Mina, and Blaze have what it takes to maintain the balance of time as the chosen fighters—the Chronos Rulers.

The anime is set in an alternate version of Heian-kyou, the old name of Kyoto and the capital during Japan's Heian era. This alternate version of the city is named Denji Heian-kyou. A delinquent high schooler named Takeru Narehira resides in our world, but after an unfortunate accident, is transported to Denji Heian-kyou. Here, he immediately meets Tsukimiya, a woman he has seen many times before in his dreams. Hardly a moment passes after that encounter when Takeru and Tsukimiya encounter an oni monster, and lose their lives. Takeru awakens, stunned to find himself again at Denji Heian-kyou. He puts together that he has the power to go back in time. Now he resolves to learn this world's version of mystical onmyōjutsu techniques, and become an onmyōji sorcerer to save Tsukimiya.

The next day, after enjoying a peaceful day, Derrida and Nathan are suddenly attacked by unknown forces. At the end of the escape, Derrida falls into a cold sleep machine and 10 years later, he wakes up to a devastated world in the middle of a war.
