Scum's Wish

It's July 1, 2020. Mizuha, a high school second-year, is having the worst seventeenth birthday ever. She's missing her chance to get close to the older student she admires, and her parents didn't even remember that it's her birthday. Worst of all, there's a new and unknown infectious disease making the rounds, so all her club tournaments and school trips have been canceled. She's convinced that she'll never have the dazzling youth that she's always dreamed of... but then her childhood friend, Mizuki, suddenly declares himself a candidate to be her boyfriend. This is a school youth story about four childhood friends who grew up like family, one being the heroine, Nishino Mizuha, and the four boys she grew up with whom she sees as family.

She smiles just for me. Her name is Kachi Shirokusa and she's even an award-winning high school girl writer! And she's beautiful! I know that she's totally out of reach for me, a normal high school kid named Maru Sueharu! But I think something's there... No, there's definitely something there! Or so I thought... but Kachi has a boyfriend?! Seeing me depressed, my friend ever since we were little who's cute, cheerful, and loves to look after others, Shida Kuroha... who also apparently had no problem telling me that she likes me for some reason just suggested, "Let's get revenge."

Third-year high school student Jirou Yakuin hoped to partner with Shiori Sakurazaka of the same class in the mandatory "Couple Practical" course. In this practical, students must demonstrate that they have the necessary skillset to live with a partner of the opposite sex while presenting a certain level of harmony to the video surveillance that grades them. Unfortunately, random chance put his slightly subdued self into the practical with the person polar opposite to him, the gyaru Akari Watanabe. Akari on the other hand hoped to be paired with her crush Minami Tenjin. Their hopes are doubly dashed when they find out that Shiori and Minami are assigned together. Thus, they reluctantly decide to cooperate to reach the top ten, which would give them the right to exchange partners if both couples agree. To that end, Jirou steals Akari's first kiss without realizing what he'd done, while giving a hurried good-bye kiss...

Shungo is a normal high school student living in a huge house. One day, his sister Ryoko sends Mayu and Mikihiro Tsukimura, two siblings, to live with him to help Mayu overcome her problem. Mayu's problem: androphobia (fear of men), and Ryoko wants Shungo to help her overcome. How? By making Mayu and Shungo share the same room, bed, and even take baths together. To make things even worse, Reika Hojo, the student-council chair, somehow ends up becoming their maid.
