Super Express Hikarian

The second season of Chou Tokkyuu Hikarian.

2100A.D. The world has entered a new age of super high-speed railways. The World Railway Conference has introduced the Laser Rail, a whole new form of travel in which trains are no longer confined to the ground. To operate on the Laser Rail, the Train Base is established. Here, trains from across the globe, installed with artificial intelligences and robot bodies. Thus the Train Heroes are born. Within the Train Base, these Train Heroes undergo strict training sessions. On occasion, they are called upon to assist in disaster rescue and relief. Note: This is a joint Japan-China project. Collaboration between TV Tokyo and Carloon Animation Company (Chanzhou, China).

Super human Chiharu and cyborg Makina got arrested for breaking space traffic laws. They're stuck with a crew of misfits who got caught around the same time: Akane and Kanata, the super human pair; and Kurt and Max, the cyborg pals. Ryoko, the police officer, sentenced them to clean up the interplanetary train – the so-called "Milky☆Subway," as their community service. It should've been a simple job – until the train suddenly takes off into deep space! The crew scrambles in confusion as chaos unfolds onboard! No purpose! No principle! No point! A never-before-seen space-train spectacle, powered by nothing but pure momentum!

Hikaru is at first sight a student like others but actually it is a super hero defending the Earth of the demons. He has a powerful super bike and a combat suit. Inspired by the classic Space Sheriff (Uchuu Keiji) trilogy of the Metal Heroes Tokusatsu franchise, namely Space Sheriff's Gavan and Sharivan.
